My cat received excellent care for a very serious problem. VEG in Murfreesboro was the closet emergency service . The doctors were extremely caring and knowledgeable. The techs were all very caring and professional too. Even the admitting/ billing clerk was caring. My cat was there from Sunday morning until Tuesday afternoon with constant monitoring.

We unfortunately had to bring our cat Pepper here during an emergency, and ultimately we had to make the incredibly difficult decision to let her go. It was one of the hardest nights that we have been through, but I am so grateful for the kindness and compassion we were shown. The staff took the time to examine Pepper, run tests, explain what they were finding, and talk honestly with us about what our options were and what pursuing further neurological care could look like. We never felt judged or pressured while making an extremely painful decision. What really stuck with me was the compassion they showed Pepper and our family throughout the entire process. They treated her gently and gave us the time we needed to be with her and say goodbye. A week later, we received a card filled with handwritten messages from members of the staff. I wasn’t expecting that at all, and it meant more to our family than they probably realize. Obviously I wish the circumstances that brought us here had been completely different, but I’m incredibly thankful Pepper was surrounded by people who treated her with kindness and dignity during her final moments. Thank you for taking care of our girl. ❤️
